Maybe there is a museum in Addis Ababa that has artifacts from the Battle of Adwa and King Menelik’s time. This was an important historical battle for the world, not just Ethiopia, but it has been mostly forgotten outside of Ethiopia. If there is a museum with interesting artifacts, maybe the Battle of Adwa would be an interesting subject for your camera.

      • Sara P.G. says:

Thank you Karl for the idea.

Near the top, center, against the blue sky, there is a tower with three white oval objects at the top of tower. What is that?

You might be interested in this novel by a former American teacher in Bekoji. It is about two brothers from Bekoji who go to the Battle of Adwa.
