The Roadside: While Traveling Around Ethiopia Part I

Image

This time, I want to pay tribute to “journey” rather than destination, because traveling around Ethiopia-the land of extremes, a land of far-flung and untamed places- is as much exciting as each particular region that a traveler interested to arrive at and discover.  Image

Wherever you go throughout Ethiopia, there is no doubt in coming across with fascinating people, magnificent landscapes, unique houses, amazing plants and wildlife, which all makes the roadsides for every region in Ethiopia, to be an arena for the most interesting and entertaining real life shows. Image

It is worth tracing the route on the ground, which reveals amazing scenery and a much better feeling of the country, most of all, it is worth to stop by and capture the moment as the destination itself.  For this particular post, I pick the historical route, the mysterious and the mountainous northern part of Ethiopia to show you what it is like “along the way.”  Let us start with the breathtaking northern Ethiopia landscape.ImageImageImageImageImage
