WALKABOUT: Addis Ababa’s Market

Image

Addis Ababa encompasses colorful markets that are worth to visit. Mercato is reputed to be the largest market in Africa and is one of the tourist Attractions of Addis Ababa.  Today, I want to walkabout and the take the world with me to one of the markets of Addis Ababa and I pick the market called ‘Shola’.   Though it’s not as huge as Mercato it contains the eloquent pieces of Ethiopia, colorful and very interesting in its own flavor.

The market days are Wednesday and Saturday, when people come from all over the country to sell their products, buy, and visit.
