A Glimpse Of Ethiopian Beauty

Starting from the world acclaimed beautiful people to the most amazingly spectacular little birds, simply beauty is everywhere in Ethiopia.

From all the beautiful things Ethiopia blessed with, I pick two of my favorites. For me, Birds and Zebras are the most beautiful creatures in the world.  I see the canvas of the universe on them. Regarding birds, I am amazed by their different kinds of color, combination and the design it’s just breathtaking.  Zebras, simply two different colors put together beautifully and I see simplicity and extraordinary at the same time on these amazing creatures.

Though you find these beautiful creatures in different parts of the country. I think taking a tour down to the southern part of the country, where you can find five unique Rift Valley lakes mostly known for bird-life.

Since I wanted to see Zebras I continued my journey to south where you find Nechsar National Park. The park tucked between lakes Abaya and Chamo. It situated in Gamo Gofa regional capital of Arba Minch and the nearby town of Arba Minch is 510 kilometers from Addis Ababa and its worth going.

Seeing Burchell’s Zebras in unusual large herds, galloping with the sweep of endless golden white grass was one of the happiest moments of my life which I cherish.

It is just a glimpse so I suggest you come to Ethiopia and experience Beauty In Abundance.

    Hey Sara,

I really enjoyed all of your blogs which I read until now.Too bad that I just discovered this page today.
Keep the good works coming sis!
    Two questions though,

What do use to visit nech sar park? Private vehicle or you hired one in Arbaminch town?

Your picture qualities are great and I don’t think it is possible with a smart phone which is I am using now.

Cheers and looking forward your future updates!

Thank you so much Abebe for stopping by, for liking my blog and for your kind words it is much appreciated! To visit Nech Sar park you need to rent a 4×4 from Arbaminch. About the pictures yes, you need to have good quality camera for better quality I guess. Hope it helps Good Luck!
